Cholesteatomas of the Extererenal Auditory Canal Report of 2 Cases in Fateher & his Daughter

Abstract
A desquamating squamous epithelial mass is rarely found deep in the canal. The etiology is uncertain but is probably related to faulty migration of squamous epithelial cells from the surface of the tympanic membrane and adjacent canal which allows a mass of squamous epithelium and debris to accumulate and intermix with cerumen. This lesion is frequently associated with bronchiectasis and sinusitis. This paper was attempted to report 2 cases of cholesteatoma of the external auditory canal in father and his daughter with brief review of references.
